Meet April Rolle, MD... Your ER Doctor Online 👩🏾‍⚕️

Hi beautiful people! My name is April Rolle and I'm a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician practicing in South Florida. I'm also a member of RoweDocs and I offer online visits through Telemedicine (https://rowedocs.com/draprilrolle). I earned my medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA and completed my ER residency at The SUNY at Stony Brook Emergency Medicine Residency Program in Stony Brook, NY.

I enjoy the fast pace and variety of working in the ER and being able to do life saving procedures. I also love the innovations in healthcare delivery and adaptability of providing care amidst the rapid changes brought on by the current pandemic. This is partly why I started branching out into Telemedicine. Healthcare can be provided right where you are. Not every symptom or condition requires you to have to go in to an office, hospital, or ER and I'm here to be your ER doctor online.

Not only is getting to a physical location a barrier to access healthcare, being able to see a physician that looks like you may be even more difficult. Black female doctors represent only 2% of physicians in the US. So, while you may not be able to physically come to my ER to be my patient, you can log into your phone or computer to have a virtual visit with me from the comfort of your own home.

When I'm not in the ER or doing Telemedicine I'm probably enjoying any number of hobbies including keeping up with my natural hair care, growing food in my garden, practicing my new sewing skills, exploring genealogy, listening to music, dancing, or spending time with loved ones (from at least 6 feet away or through a phone or computer screen because of COVID-19).
